This Halloween NSSC and Philly's Mütter Museum present HAXAN, the silent documentary about the history of witchcraft and satanism.
Join us for a screening of 1922 silent horror film Häxan, Witchcraft Through the Ages, as we explore witchcraft, pagan worship, and female “hysteria”, complete with live score from Not-So-Silent Cinema.
Pretzels, drinks, and complimentary museum admission will be available from 5:30pm-6:30pm, followed by a brief lecture and the film screening with musical accompaniment. No one will be admitted past 6:45pm.
